Step 1 – Verify your Admin Account

The error 1rm may be occurring because you are not the admin on your system or you may have multiple admin accounts. To check this, head to your system preferences, then user and groups. Here you will see a list of users on the computer. If you are seeing multiple admin accounts we would recommend deleting the unnecessary ones.
