Filter and Overlay Presets

TransFilter includes 5 styled presets that include 30 filters each and a combination of overlays. After installing TransFilter, you will find all of the presets in the Transition Browser of your Final Cut Pro X library. Quickly and easily create a filtered transition with the ability to create your own custom looks.

 

 

Hundreds of Possible Styles & Animations

Archives, Energy, Grunge, Sci-Fi, and Text are the styles included in TransFilter. Each of the 5 styled presets includes highly customizable filters that can be combined with the built in overlays to create truly unique styles and animations. Select from various styles, easily add between your media, and customize directly inside of Final Cut Pro.

 

 

Easy to Use Controls

TransFilter comes with an easy and helpful to use Preview Mode. The Preview Mode allows users to preview the changes in animation, rotation, and direction in real time. Use TransFilter’s provided parameters to customize each transition to your desired look and feel. 

 

 

Filter Options

Utilize up to 30 filter options within each stylized preset using the Filter Type drop down menu. Each filter option creates a unique customizable look with the provided style controls. Use the Style Controls section to further customize each filter.

 

 

Customizable Controls

You can individually adjust the animation for each transition. Adjust the camera controls for unique screen movements. Customize the transition type, direction, and animation speed with the provided Filter Controls.

How do I keep my letterbox format while using this plugin?

.

Transition effects will not adhere to letterbox format film and will require additional steps to maintain the format through the transition. To keep the format you will need to apply two color solid generators to your timeline above where the transition occurs. Using the transform controls in the video inspector window, adjust the "Y Position" of one solid to match the top positioning of the letterbox then adjust the "Y Position" of the second solid to match the bottom positioning of the letterbox.
