TransFlare 4K contains 40 lens flares filmed on the RED Dragon. Utilizing the Dragon Sensor,TransFlare 4K lens flare and light leak transitions have a very high-dynamic range for super smooth falloff. Simply drag and drop once of the TransFlare’s between two clips on the timeline.

4K High Quality Footage

TransFlare 4K contains no digitally generated images. All 40 of the light effects were professionally filmed by bouncing light inside a lens to give the footage the most realistic flares and leaks possible. Utilizing the Dragon Sensor, TransFlare 4K lens flare and light leak composites have a very high-dynamic range for super smooth falloff.

On-Screen Controls

With high quality footage, TransFlare 4K can be utilized for HD to 4k films without any loss in quality. Users can even use the on-screen controls to scale and move the flare to wherever they need without pixelating the flare.

Designed for Final Cut Pro X

TransFlare 4K was designed to work seamlessly inside Final Cut Pro X, eliminating the need to composite footage. Simply choose your light effect in the transitions window, and then calibrate the color and intensity of your light. You can also adjust the length of the transition in the timeline to best work with your scene.

How do I keep my letterbox format while using this plugin?

.

Transition effects will not adhere to letterbox format film and will require additional steps to maintain the format through the transition. To keep the format you will need to apply two color solid generators to your timeline above where the transition occurs. Using the transform controls in the video inspector window, adjust the "Y Position" of one solid to match the top positioning of the letterbox then adjust the "Y Position" of the second solid to match the bottom positioning of the letterbox.
