Aliso Viejo, California — Pixel Film Studios compiled its best composite effects and released it as the FCPX VFX Suite, now available on the company’s store. The plugin includes a wide variety of smoke, fire, liquid, particle, and pyrotechnic effects, giving users an amazing toolset for creating and adding cinematic elements to any project. Free and frequent updates will be available to any users who own the plugin, adding to the hundreds of composites already included.

“Having the FCPX VFX Suite is like having a professional visual effects team right at your fingertips,” said Lynn Silver, Media Manager of Pixel Film Studios. “The ability to apply the highest quality fire, smoke, or particle effects to your footage with just a click of a mouse opens the door to any video creator to create award winning cinema.”

Use Built In Smoke, Fire and Style Tools to Push Composites Even Further

FCPX VFX Suite comes with dozens of hours of quality footage, and includes Emitter tools, giving users the ability to emit fire, smoke, or other elements from any point in their scene. Other included effects include the Snow, Bokeh, Embers, and Soft Glow Effects, empowering users to transform their shots.

Utilize Built in Tracking and Masking Tools for Effortless Realism

The FCPX VFX Suite comes with Pixel Film Studios’ proprietary Motion Tracker and trackable Masking Tool so that creators can track composites and emitters to a specific selection in the footage, no matter how much the camera or subject moves. With these tools, users can simulate icy raindrops in a window, or flames emitting from weak points in a building.
